Traveler IQ Challenge

Atheista pimped this game in his site. I used to like looking at maps so I thought I'd try it. I only got to level 10 with 357,004 pts and a Traveler IQ of 110. Atheista did so much better.

This Traveler IQ challenge is brought to you by the Web's Original Travel Blog

One of the biggest wastes of my time ever on the web. The map is so puny, unless you are viewing on a 62" plasma monitor, what the hell is the point. MUNICH!! Mein Gott in Himmel, I can't even see Germany on my 17" hi-res Sony LCD.

Hi Dean,

I think it assumes that if you really have a high Traveller IQ, you should be able to guess the approximate position of the places mentioned.

I actually scored quite high in European countries because the countries are relatively small so guessing approximate positions of cities gives me higher scores, I can point to the center of Belgium and be relatively sure that my guess will be within hundreds of miles of the place mentioned.

Its when trying to guess cities in Canada or India or the Island states off the Caribbean and the Asia Pacific that I get lost.

Anyway, as you say it is a waste of time, but if you have some time to waste, it is fun. :)
